To comprehensively characterize the clinical and epidemiological features of post-traumatic pancreatitis (PTP) in children, assess the diagnostic value of laboratory and instrumental methods, and the frequency of local complications depending on the severity of pancreatic damage. Material and methods. A retrospective-prospective single-center analysis of 184 children aged 1–17 years with post-traumatic pancreatitis treated in 2010–2025 was conducted. Results. Post-traumatic pancreatitis is more often diagnosed in schoolchildren and adolescents: the age of 11–17 years was 65.8 % (121 children), the peak of the disease occurred in the group of 11–14 years - 34.8 % (64 children). Conclusions. Post-traumatic pancreatitis in children develops mainly in boys aged 11–14 years against the background of blunt abdominal trauma of the "steering wheel" type and is characterized by a high proportion of AAST grade III–IV injuries and a significant frequency of local complications (pseudocysts, fistulas).
Napasov S.S. The purpose of study is to stratify clinical, morphological and anatomo-topographic criteria by their degree of influence on the development of complications after liver echinococcectomy with the formation of the CECS scale. Materials and methods. The study included data from 746 patients who underwent echinococcectomy in 2020–2025. Results. The overall complication rate was 25.9%, and the severe complication rate was 5.1%. Conclusions. The developed Cystic Echinococcosis Complication Score (CECS) scale, based on 12 stratified features, demonstrates clinical applicability in predicting the risk of complications during echinococcectomy and contributes to the personalization of treatment tactics
Sapaev Duschan Shukhratovich, Yakubov Farkhod Radjabovich Matkurbonov Navruz Odilbek ogli Copyright (c) 2026 Scientific Journal Of Medical Science And Biology https://www.scopusacademia.org/index.php/sjmsb/article/view/1582 Mon, 30 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0300
