Abstract

The rapid development of nuclear medicine and advanced diagnostic imaging technologies has significantly increased the educational importance of positronemission tomography inmodern medical practice. As PET continues to play a central role in oncological, neurological, and cardiological diagnostics, theneed for futurephysicianstounderstandnot onlyitsclinical applicationsbut also its underlying physical principles has become increasingly evident. However, in many medical universities, the teaching of PET fundamentals remains fragmented and insufficiently grounded in physics-based pedagogical methodologies.
